Why can wooden fireproof door prevent fire? When you hear the word "wooden fireproof door", you must feel very strange. How can wood be fireproof? In fact, there are such fireproof products in fire protection. The wood has been treated with flame retardancy. The commonly used flame retardancy methods of wood include spraying, soaking, cooking, vacuum, vacuum pressurization, etc.
The spraying method and soaking method are generally applied to the wood surface that is no longer subject to planing, and the flame retardant treatment of the thin plate with a thickness of less than 10mm, which is not applicable to the production of wood fire doors. Although the vacuum method and vacuum pressurization method have excellent flame retardant effect, they have not been used in fire door manufacturers in our city because of their expensive equipment. At present, most fire door enterprises in our city adopt cooking method for flame retardant treatment. According to the small group of wood fire door, the following points should be paid attention to when using the cooking method for flame retardant treatment:
When the fire retardant wood is dry or wet
The moisture content of wood to be flame-retardant is an important factor affecting the quality of wood flame-retardant. Because it is easier for dry wood to absorb flame retardant liquid after entering the flame retardant pool, and the amount of flame retardant liquid absorbed by wood directly affects the flame retardant quality of wood, and its absorption is in direct proportion to the oxygen index and flame retardant depth of the flame retardant wood. The more fire retardant liquid absorbed by wood, the better the fire retardant performance of wood, the higher the oxygen index, and the deeper the fire retardant depth. However, many enterprises believe that wood will be soaked by flame retardant solution when it is flame retardant anyway, so the high point and low point of wood moisture content do not matter much. The wood to be flame retardant is generally not dried, and some enterprises even fire retardant the wet square wood that has just been sawn. It is unknown that the moisture content of wood will just affect the flame retardant quality, resulting in unstable flame retardant quality of flame retardant wood. According to the test, under the same flame retardant condition, the wood with water content lower than 15% can increase the oxygen index by more than 5 and the flame retardant depth by more than 3mm compared with the wood with water content higher than 40%.
